Julie, Jane, and David are back! Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were all forced out of retirement in June of 2011. Sadly our beloved Gazebo Inn was in bad disrepair when we came back, and we have been working hard ever since to restore her back to the affordable, charming, little piece of old Myrtle Beach that so many of you called your vacation home away from home for years.
Now that we have had the time to get the old girl back into shape, our family would like to invite you and yours back for a visit. For those of you that may be considering a vacation spot that is not ocean front, please keep in mind that our family also owns the HURL ROCK MOTEL, which is located 4 blocks south of the Gazebo across the street from the beach. We took the Hurl Rock back over in April of 2010 and have also worked hard to get the property back up to the tough standards that were set forth by "Ma" Perkins.

As you are reading these reviews, please keep in mind that we did not take the Gazebo Inn back over until June of 2011, and the Hurl Rock Motel until April of 2010. Once you have had the opportunity to visit us again, we encourage you to write a review of your own. “Had a great stay at a great price!”
After reading reviews I was a little nervous about staying here but was pleasantly surprised! Our room was small but adequate and very clean. We had a great view of the ocean and were right on the beach. Housekeeping came by everyday and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel only has 55 rooms which I thought was great because its not overcrowded and several times when we went down to the pool there was no one in it so we had it all to ourselves and the beach is not overcrowded. Gazbo inn is in a great location within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. All the room are non smoking but you are allowed to smoke on the balconies which I think is good for smokers and non smokers. I was very happy with my stay and didn't want to leave. I would defiantly stay at gazebo inn again!

See what others have to say about us. But please be aware of the dates of the reviews and ignore the comments with old (or no) dates. Remember, the Perkins family only came back June 15, 2011. Also, sometimes a negative comment might come from guests who exhibited rude behavior that was not tolerated in our clean, family oriented hotel and they are just trying to get some type of revenge or whatever.
